About the Instrument

The violin is a wooden stringed instrument in the music. It is the smallest and highest-pitched instrument in the family in regular use. The violin typically has four strings tuned perfectly, and is most commonly played by drawing a bow across its strings, 
This is actually a small description about the violin as an instrument which is actually not.
it is a device which is used :

• to cure diseases
• to release someone from stress
• to explain your hidden feeling,thoughts etc
• to control others mind

The best way to find what a violin is to just pluck the strings on violin for few seconds or just draw the bow on it for few minutes. Just feel the sound which is actually a combination of different voices which initially emerged from the voice " ohm " which contains all other voices of the universe.

In Hinduism, Om is one of the most important spiritual symbols . It refers to Atman (soul, self within) and Brahman (ultimate reality, entirety of the universe, truth, divine, supreme spirit, cosmic principles, knowledge).

The instrument is made up of 99% wood with only 1% which consists of the four strings(the ratio can vary depending on the substitutes used example in below figure look at the fine tuners which is made up of iron or copper). The below picture will explain you about the parts of instrument
